The Friday Funny: Evaluation as an uplifting profession …

This week’s Friday Funny is actually a real comment from evaluation stakeholders that gave a few of us a giggle, so thought we’d share this gem from a colleague …

On a recent evaluation a notice went out to a community organisation (involving elderly people) inviting them to take part in the evaluation.

Here was their reply: ‘The executive committee met tonight as part of the agenda the elevation was mentioned. The committee would like to know the purpose of the elevation and what is being elevated?’

… and, as one of us added on hearing the story “… and just how high?”
