As the end of the year rushes up relentlessly, we thought this week we would share a simple story about the gap between words and deeds, and between receiving information and acting on it.

The question is “Which one of these is the evaluator?”

    Both are evaluators. Charlie provides evaluative information on effort. His brother provides evaluative information on effect. Wonderful!!!

    Ah. I had thought it was Harry (the older brother) who shares his observation on problematic behaviour as if this by itself will make a difference, and then after he creates the opportunity for it to happen again, is surprised that it does.
